Refugees SG (Update 2)

July 30, 2007 . No Comments

Refugees SG has its first exhibition in Temasek Junior College, after our efforts to set up the first exhibition.

The exhibition was put up in 2 hours, and would have been much quicker if all the material had been prepared beforehand. I’m beginning to think of preparing “exhibition kits” with all this material already prepared, to make it easier for people to set up exhibitions in their own schools, but that would require alot of time and effort by a group of volunteers.

On another note, there needs to be more material in the exhibition, as what we had today barely covered the board.

It’s 9pm, Rishik just sent out the email to the whole of TJC an hour ago, and my email inbox is inundated with “approve comment” emails (i.e. people signing the petition). There are also 2 people who have joined the yahoogroup, and 1 who has emailed to ask whether she can bring the exhibition to her school.

The speed at which this project is gathering speed is scary, and more and more I think I need a J1 or a J3 to help me run it.
